This week is Safety Week throughout YCDSB.  All schools, including St. Gabriel the Archangel will be participating in a variety of Safety drills including: Fire drill, Lock Down, Hold & Secure and Severe Weather.  Staff will be instructing students as to the proper procedures and how to respond in timely, calm and safe procedures.  Please discuss with your child that these drills are important and ... Please join us for our 1st CSC meeting on September 27 at 7:00p.m. in the library.  All parents/guardians are welcome to participate in all meetings and events.  You don’t have to be an elected member to participate and volunteer to assist with committees and school events.

Our Terry Fox Run is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, September 27.  We have moved the time to 9:15 a.m. so that we are participating in the event during cooler morning temperatures.  We encourage all participants to bring a water bottle, wear a cap or sun hat, wear sunscreen and dress appropriately.  It is a Themed Civvies Day – students are encouraged to wear red and ...
