Coni “Comitato Olimpico Nazionale Italiano” In the spring of 2017, “Coni” invited the YCDSB and TCDSB to participate in a Track & Field event which would take place in June through Centro Scuola Athletics. Through the International (Heritage) Language Department at St. Gabriel the Archangel CES, 5 students were given the opportunity to participate. Safety is everyone’s responsibility when dropping off and picking up children at St. Gabriel the Archangel CES. To assist with safe parking we have collaborated with the City of Vaughan Parking Authorities who has provided us with a map of safe parking locations and reminders. Please see attached information. Thanksgiving is a time for all to be thankful for the abundance and good-fortune in our lives; it is also a time to share with those less fortunate and with those who are experiencing difficulties and hardships. This week is Safety Week throughout YCDSB. All schools, including St. Gabriel the Archangel will be participating in a variety of Safety drills including: Fire drill, Lock Down, Hold & Secure and Severe Weather. Staff will be instructing students as to the proper procedures and how to respond in timely, calm and safe procedures. Please discuss with your child that these drills are important and ... Please join us for our 1st CSC meeting on September 27 at 7:00p.m. in the library. All parents/guardians are welcome to participate in all meetings and events. You don’t have to be an elected member to participate and volunteer to assist with committees and school events.
